"Erika Bareiss (Clinton, NY) was selected as the NEAC Women’s Swimming and Diving Student-Athlete of the Week for her three first place finishes while adding three second place finishes and a fourth place finish for her Wells College Express in their dual meets against Marywood and Buffalo State. Bareiss, a sophomore, finished first in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 1:07.93, first in the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:29.36, and first in the 200 yard freestyle relay in a time of 2:00.09 in the dual meet against Marywood. In the meet agains Buffalo State, she finished second in the 200 yard breaststroke with a time of 3:13.38, second in the 200 yard medley relay with a time of 2:11.13, second in the 200 yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:57.46, and fourth in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 30.81."
