2011 Commencement

For the past 5 years, Commencement has been held on the lawn of the Aurora Inn with the beautiful Cayuga Lake in the background. And this year's Commencement was no different.

Hunter Harris graduated with a degree in Economics. Hunter only swam for the team for one season however he was able to put his name on the All Wells Top Ten Times in 5 individual (50 FR, 100/200 BA, 100 BR and 200 IM) and 3 relays (2oo/400/800 FR Relay).

Emily Northrup earned Cum Laude with a degree in Mathematics. She also graduated in just 3 years! Emily only swam for one season, her senior year, but she made such a positive impact on the team. Her specialty was backstroke and sprint freestyle.

Mike Scharvella earned his degree in Mathematical and Physical Sciences with a focus on Mathematics. Mike has swam on the team for all four years. He was one of the first swimmers to join the men's team and has always been on the All Wells Top Ten Times. He currently holds the 200 BA, 400/800 FR relay and 200/400 Medley relay. He is also on the list for 7 other individual events.
